Your life is a living word whether you know it or not. Our words and actions should represent the absolute best of us and the Lord our God. We are His ambassadors on the earth. Not a religious organization or denomination. We are an administrative delegation representing the Government of God on earth.
In our everyday lives we are telling a story of who we are. If we claim to be believers, then we are representing the Kingdom of God on earth and are personal representatives of God himself. Many people that God has placed in our lives are dependent on us and the story that our life is presenting. People in our sphere of influence may never set foot in a church or open a Bible and read. They do, however, listen to you and observe your life. You have heard the statement, “my life is an open book.”
This is truer than you know. The Bible tells us through the Apostle Paul in 2nd Corinthians 3:2,3 AMP (You are our letter [of recommendation], written in our hearts, recognized, and read by everyone. You show that you are a LETTER from Christ, delivered by us, WRITTEN not with ink but with the SPIRIT of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.)
You are a letter written by Christ to all. Our lives, reactions to problems, circumstances, shocking news, frustrations, anger, pain, disappointment, joy, love, good news, blessings, gifts, and whatever life brings our way will be read by those around us. Our reactions can either be a story of faith in the Word of God and His finished work or a story that neither benefits us or the reader. A story of complaining and speaking contrary to what the Word of God declares, or a life lived that in no way glorifies God is a story that discourages and leads others away from God. People are observing how we live and how we respond to life’s challenges. We must honor God and not be obstacles to those who don’t know God, or they who are weak in their faith.
Be the story that God has written. Hebrews 12:2 tells us: looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.
It is an impressive story!!! May those who read your story be inspired to seek God and change their lives because of you.
Thanks for your blog, nice to read. Do not stop.
Thanks a bunch. We will continue by God’s grace.
