God is With You in Difficult Times

Good Morning, I’d like to share this magnify moment with you to encourage you to stand firm and believe the Word of God. We all face challenges and difficulties. Some of these challenges are of our own making and some of them are due to the fact that we are in a very real spiritual war against unseen enemies. However, we have weapons. Our primary weapon is the Word of God which is the sword of the spirit. We use that weapon by speaking the Word, doing the Word, and resting in the fact that God will watch over his word to perform it.

Jeremiah 1:12
Then said the Lord unto me, you have well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.
As I’m writing this article, I’m going through a tough time, and I’m believing God for His will to be done in my life. Oftentimes people only show you the good times. Well, I’m sharing with you a challenging time and I’m confident that God’s plan is unfolding. I’m just standing in agreement with what He has already finished. Many times we ask God for a particular outcome and when it doesn’t happen they way that we think it should we are disappointed and angry at God. Our focus must be on who God is and not what he does for us. He’s not a genie that grants wishes.

Here are a few scriptures that will help as we navigate through tough times.

Psalm 9:9-10
The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

Psalm 34:17-18
The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit.

This scripture really hits home. It makes me think of my daughter. She may do something that upsets me or something she should not do, but she is so remorseful when she says I’m sorry Daddy. I just have to hug her and tell her it’s ok, but don’t do that for whatever the reason may be. How much more forgiving is God, who sent his only begotten son Jesus to die for any mistake that we would make.
God is in the middle of your tough time and will bring you to the other side.

Lastly,
Deuteronomy 31:18
And the Lord, he it is that goes before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
As the saying goes, tough times don’t last, but tough people do. We must be resilient in our faith and our conviction about who God is while we endure tough times. God is faithful. Let’s stand strong knowing that all things work together for our good.
